UptofourMatrixswitchesmaybeinterconnectedtocreatealargerswitchingsystemcapableofsupporting
morereceiversandtransmitters.Thisisreferredtoasacascadedsystem.WhencascadingMatrixswitches,you
canseamlesslyconnecttoanytargetdevicefromasinglelistintheOn-screenDisplay(OSD)interface,asifall
thetargetdeviceswereconnectedtooneswitch.Touseseamlesscascading,youwillneedtoconfigurethe
cascadedswitchesasamasterandslave(s).Therecanbeonlyonemasterinacascadedsystem.Theswitchthatis
settomastermodeisusedtoadministertheotherswitches,transmittersandreceiversinthesystemthroughthe
OBWI.Inasystemwithonlyoneswitch,thatswitchshouldalwaysbesettomastermode.
Whenaswitchissettoslavemode,thewebuserinterfaceontheswitchwillbecomeverylimited.Aslave
cannotadministerotherdevices.
