Titanium Dioxide (TiO
2
) Applications
Titanium dioxide is used as a paper additive to
increase brightness and opacity. It is a fine white
powder that is added at a low flow rate as a slurry
to pulp stock. The process is very erosive and
requires fine control and tight shutoff.
